Full Circle Farms (FCF) is located in eastern South Dakota, a five hour drive west from Minneapolis or a 40 minute drive southwest from the Aberdeen airport.

The owners of FCF have spent 25 years developing world class wildlife hunting opportunities for friends, family and associates, a resource now available for you.  Years of dedication have gone into developing a truly unmatched hunting experience.  There are over 75 different group hunting opportunities in shelterbelts, crp, and foodplots, and almost 10 miles of riparian creek bottom.  You will not hunt the same field twice.  Find out for yourself why we have the finest wild pheasant hunting and whitetail bow hunting experiences in South Dakota.

Until recently effort has been focused almost exclusively on habitat development.  Over the past couple years, we have significantly improved our 30 acre lodge site with new tree belts, landscaping and a pond.  Our lodge, remodeled in 2010, has space for 18, a great room/gathering area, a new kitchen, wi fi, and satellite television.  Our campus includes a trap range with a Promatic Ranger and an archery target range.

Meals times are special at FCF. You will eat some of the most enjoyable food of your life in the company of close friends and associates, whether our chefs do all the meal planning or you decide to try your hand at a personal specialty.  We can tailor a menu to whatever level of cuisine you wish.

The Lodge

During the summer of 2010 we updated/remodeled our main building. Gary Aulik of Aulik Design Build (he also moonlights at Full Circle as a bird cleaner, dog handler and guide extraordinaire) worked for hours with Dick Emmerich (Otto) to create an amazing lodge space that would compliment the world class hunting we’ve enjoyed for years.  Along with remodeling the kitchen and great room we tore off the old garage and breezeway and built an addition with six bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room. Everything was completed and ready to go just as the season began thanks to tremendous effort from Dick, Gary, Stubby, Dan, Chuck and many, many other people. Thank you to everyone that helped out in the 11th hour!!

Weather and 2011 Outlook

Wow, we had a long, crazy winter.  It started off with significant snow fall and some early cold temperatures and finished off with record snow levels and a cool spring.  Similar to last year there is water all over the county.  Duck hunting is going to be great for another year.

The deer and pheasants seem to have weathered the winter very well.  There are birds everywhere.  The turnips Dan planted last year helped the deer pull through with flying colors.  If you haven’t had a chance go see the video we took in January in and around Tiny’s Trees and the permanent easement land by Runners. We saw over 1000 deer it was amazing.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw48Grmc30M

The new cleaning building/dog kennel is moving forward quickly. The building is insulated and roofed with electrical and plumbing completed. I think the dogs are going to love the in floor heating. Gary Aulik did a fantastic job designing. While we'll miss the old cleaning building I'm sure we can create great memories here. Imagine, hot running water in december.
